Biographical Sketch:
Focus on impacts, removals and proper disposal of lost, abandoned, discarded or retired fishing gear in the Gulf of Maine. Prioritize working closely with commercial fishermen, trained volunteers and colleagues from other disciplines to achieve efficient results in all phases of handling fishing gear. Pioneered at-sea gear removal techniques and strategies in New England working with industry. Interest in diverting difficult-to-manage debris from the waste stream and providing it for value-added products; engage artists and craftsmen to that end.
