Biographical Sketch:

Dr. Jut Wynne is an Assistant Research Professor at Northern Arizona University whose work supports natural resource managers through applied research in ecology and conservation worldwide. His projects focus on modeling species distributions, monitoring community dynamics, and identifying the impacts of human activities on cave-dwelling arthropods, bats and various wildlife species–including threatened species monitoring and protection. He has led numerous all-taxa inventories and ecological assessments across the American Southwest, as well as in Belize, Bhutan, China, Spain, and Rapa Nui. A key aim of his work is to provide actionable results to guide conservation interventions. Jut partners with collaborators and engages local communities in stewardship efforts both at home and abroad. He has published extensively and is committed to delivering science-based results to support resource management and biodiversity protection.

Ph.D. in Ecology from Northern Arizona University (NAU), awarded 2014; M.S in Environmental Science and Policy from NAU; Graduate Certificate in Ecotechnie from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium.
